Genuine Double-Sided Porcelain AA Motorcycle Specialist Sign
I would say this sign is circa late pre-war, early post-war - made by Franco signs W1
It is a large, double-sided sign and would have originally hung on a pole. It looks as if one of the hooks let go and the sign fell onto the pavement. Hence the damage you see.
Unfortunately one hook is missing. this can easily be replicated should you wish to rebuild the sign.
It measures 31" high by 22" wide approx.
The sign has separated from its wooden frame due to the nails/screws having rusted. The frame, although complete, is very fragile. There is potential to hang each sign separately or remake/repair the frame and restore it to original specification.
