Indian 741 Air Filter Conversion

Air filter from K&S A very nice looking, good quality air filter providing excellent results.

These filters use paper braid filtering as in motorcycle sports filters as opposed to conventional foam. Uses a stainless hose clip around a rubber coupling.

Air screw adjustment may be required and you will also need to increase carburettor jetting by approx 7-10%.

Shown is a before and after pic of the conversion I applied to my own Indian. It is a simple way to dispense with the the original oil/air filter whilst keeping the original right angle intake arrangement. An ideal way to civilianise your 741 and retaining a period appearace.
