Date stamped 1923, this engine is likely to be for the model D.

It appears to be mostly complete, however it has had a recent break on the chain case but fortunately there is a replacement casting to go with it - please see pictures.

Also there is an older break on the lower mounting lug. Again not difficult to deal with.

I have not inspected the engine internals but the condition of the head and barrels hint that it has been rebuilt at some stage. That said, I cannot guarantee the condition.
