This machine is original and unrestored. It is just as it came out the factory.
It has covered a genuine 16,000 miles from new and has had very few owners in its time.
Please note, I was informed that the silencer you see in the picture is the one fitted at the time by the factory. Although this is clearly a non-standard item, I would say it is highly plausible that the silencer was fitted because Triumph, at that time, were finding problems with suppliers. They would have bought in an after-market product from a motorcycle dealer in order to complete the machine. Therefore, historically, this bike is quite important and, in my opinion, should be left just as it is.
